Iranians light candles at Consulate General of Afghanistan

TEHRAN, Jun. 02 (MNA) – Dozens of Iranians and Afghan residents in Mashhad, placed candles in front of the Consulate General of Afghanistan in the northeastern city of Iran to offer sympathies on Kabul terrorist attack.

On Thursday evening, dozens of Iranians and Afghan residents in Mashhad city of Iran placed flowers and lighted candles in front of the Consulate General of Afghanistan in the northeastern city of Iran to offer sympathies on Kabul terrorist attack and commemorate the victims of Kabul deadly attack.

The picketers congregated in front of the consulate holding handwritten placards in their hands condemning the attack and offering sympathies to the bereaved families. They also called for prosecuting and punishing of the perpetrators of the attack.

Seyyed Nourollah Raghi, the Afghan Consul General to Mashhad was among the congregated people and thanked them for offering sympathies.
